We now know that 2009's Pride Parents Day will be on October 10, when OU hosts Baylor one week before the annual Red River Rivalry. (Yes, OU vs. Texas is on October 17th this year. I don't know why. I wasn't consulted. You can see the entire October football schedule at the calendar for the OU Band Alumni by clicking here/)

We don't know when kickoff will be, and we probably won't know until 13 days before the game (or, if the networks exercise an option, until just six days before the game, but that's less likely). Once we know kickoff time, we can finalize exact schedules and get them out to you.

Your Pride student will get more information about the event in his or her orientation packet after this year's auditions are complete and the band is set. The pre-audition packet contains instructions for students to use if they have questions. If you have questions, please feel free to contact Betty Wiseman by clicking on her name to send her E-mail.

Now that kickoff for the OU vs. TCU game has been scheduled (6:00 PM CDT, with coverage on Fox Sports Networks on cable and satellite), the University Band department has set the schedule for 2008 Parents Day, shown below:
